I’m the Audio Production and Management Pathway Lead. I’ve been writing music since I was 16. Prior to teaching, I worked for Blasting Room Studios and Owned and Operated Records. As a professional songwriter, I’ve produced three full-length records and several EPs and singles. My songs have been featured in more than three dozen television shows (90210, The Lying Game, One Tree Hill), a handful of trailers, ads, movies (Blue Lagoon, I Hate Valentines Day) and in Whole Foods' Download for a Difference campaign.

I was a Language Arts teacher at Fossil Ridge High School from 2009-2021. I established the Songwriters Guild and have taught songwriting and basic guitar skills to my Creative Writing and US Literature and Composition classes for many years.

When not at school, you will find me with my family, playing with my two children, strumming the guitar, or digging in the garden.
