Hi! I'm Lisa, but also go by Marweg around the lab, and use she/her pronouns. I love working with students as they find their own pathways through high school and plan for their futures. I am fortunate to have two really amazing components of my job. I work with students in ELD programming at the Futures Lab and in graduation advocacy for students currently, or previously, in ELD programming district wide. This is my fourteenth year in education. Over the years I have taught fifth grade, first grade, high school social studies, and English Language Development K-12. When I am not working with students and teachers, I am usually hanging out with my family (including my dogs and cats!!), reading, gardening, or possibly snowboarding. This year is going to be a fantastic school year!!
